Nana's 70th Birthday Cruise
For my Nana's 70th birthday we surprised her with a family cruise. She has been wanting to go on a cruise for a long time but most of our family gets motion sick. So we finally agreed that we would go on a cruise for her birthday. On her birthday we went to dinner then went to our aunts house for a party. We all got her presents, and on each present there was a letter to spell out cruise. Finally she spelled out the word and was so exited. After a whole year of planning we Finally went. On June 27th 2019, we headed to Galveston. When we first got to Galveston we met up with our aunt,uncle,Nana and our Cousins. We went to go eat at a restaurant on the ocean and we surprised Nana with her best friends to come eat with us, she was so happy. After that we went to the strand to eat ice cream and shop. That night we went to our hotel, went to bed and was so exited to go on the cruise ship. The next morning we went to breakfast with our whole family to say goodbye to our cousins Maci, Daniel and Bella because they didn't go on the cruise with us. A couple hours later it was time to get on the ship, I was nervous but exited. After a while of getting our bags checked and going through security we got on the boat. The ship was so big and it looked really nice. Me, Sidney and Kelsey shared a room but we couldn't go to our room for a while because they had to get them ready. So we went on the top deck to say goodbye as we departed. On the top deck there was 2 pools and bars. Every day they had contests there that we could watch. Me, Sidney and our cousin Trinity and Jamie went to the teen club and we played games and had dance parties. The cruise had a kids club for Zane and a arcade where Quinn and Blaine hung out. Every day they had games and contest for the whole family in the centrum. We played family fued, a cupcake making contest, and a egg dropping contest. Me,our cousins and our friend Jamie did a dancing class. There was so many things to do. When we finally got to go to our room it was kinda small but it worked. We had a balcony, 2 bed and a couch. The shower was really small. Me, Sidney and Kelsey just took turns on who slept in the bed. Most of our family had to wear patches because we get sea sick and we were fine. We planned 2 excursions to do. We did dune buggies in Cozumel. There was a bunch of different colored cars and we went to 2 beaches where we ate and scuba dive. Our other excursion was in Costa maya but it got cancelled because they couldn't dock the boat because it was to windy. Every night we ate in the same dining room the food was pretty good. The waiters were really nice and they sand Happy Birthday to Nana. After 5 days of cruising it was time to go home. It was sad to leave but on the way home we were going to get our new puppy Franklin. A few weeks before the cruise we went to pick out which boxer puppy we wanted. He was so cute! The cruise ended up being so fun and I will defiantly want to do another one soon!
